Hi I'm Mike Coulson.
About Me
I am widowed and live in Gosforth, just north of Newcastle upon Tyne with my son and daughter, when she is home from University.
One of my passions in life is football. I am a Hartlepool United season ticket holder and follow them to most home and away matches.
I have been a football referee since the 1970’s but gave it up when the children were born because more pressing things took over my life. At the time I was refereeing at quite a senior level and now my children have grown up, their words not mine, I have taken up the whistle again and officiate in the local midweek University league as well as a couple of local Sunday morning leagues.
I visit the gym a couple of times each week to help maintain my fitness and I also help out with the training of new referees.
My other interests include visiting the cinema, theatre and I still go to concerts, particularly to see rock groups.
